Just got back from the gym! I did just 1 circuit on the weight machines, 12 reps per set, 1 set only. Since the weights are on the 4th floor, I took the stairs up and down, for my mini-cardio.
I tried not to compare myself to the elderly woman trailing me on the machines who was lifting much more than I was. I just kept reminding myself that I am starting slow so I won’t get injured and have to stop. I also tried to focus on how awesome it is to see a woman in her later years (60s? 70s?) wearing weight gloves and giving the trainer what-for.
